This is Me Chevonne
Presents:

Hey 2018 can you slow down a bit, this year just started geesh!!! Summer is here everyone. That means schools out, kids are home and we now have to start making sure we have more than enough snacks to quench their never ending hunger lol.

So before my kids can even start with the "Mommy I'm bored" and the "Mommy he wont let me get my turn" arguments. I have been planning non summer fun.

I work 3 days out of the week, so on those days I have them signed up for our local Boys and Girls club. They went last year for about 3 weeks before they left to spend the summer with my dad. They made a lot of friends in that short time and loved all the endless games and activities the B&GC have to offer. Bonus for me (its only 15$ per child for the WHOLE summer)!!

So here is a list of activities that range from FREE to 80$
Faith:
  • Bible trivia: I ordered this kids Bible Trivia from amazon. All through the year we attend church as well as Sunday school, but truth be told its not enough. As a Christian mom I want to make sure that my kids know the word inside and out so when they get older they will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

Learning:
  • Summer work packets- You can request a summer packet from your kids teachers. My kids are allowed to take home their unfinished work books that they used in school.
  • Arts & crafts- I picked up some local painting supplies at the dollar store.
  • *Michaels also offer a great craft section with sculptures from 1.00-7.00$.
  • Also Joann's Fabrics has kids craft classes. We are going to do the cupcake icing class
  • Library- Check out your local library for summer reading programs. Chuck E Cheese also offers 10 free tokens every time your child reads for 2weeks in a row. You just have to go in and pick up one of their forms to fill out.
  • Museums Young at art- has some awesome programs and its only 12$ (adult & child) for Broward Residents and 14$ for non residents.
  • Miami Children`s Museum Is sponsored by target, and they are FREE every 3rd Friday of the month from 4-8pm.
